WeChat is a messaging application that was created by Tencent in 2011. WeChat makes it easy to connect with friends, family, and colleagues using just your name. WeChat has many fun features - Chatting with groups of people, voice calls, sharing photos, or sending videos to large groups of friends at once are all available on WeChat.
WeChat Weixin allows you to play games, transfer money between friends or shopping online, order taxis, or make reservations at restaurants easier than ever! WeChat also gives you the ability to find other users nearby easily.
The first version of Weixin was released first December 2011 on the Android platform only. The iOS version was launched later, around February 2012.
