WA Chat Viewer is a focused utility for anyone who regularly exports WhatsApp conversations and wants to read them in a familiar, tidy layout. Instead of sifting through raw text files, the app reconstructs your conversations to closely resemble the original chat interface, complete with timestamps, sender labels, and message bubbles.

One of its strongest points is offline functionality. Once you have your exported chat file, everything happens locally, which is reassuring if you are dealing with sensitive or personal conversations. You can manage multiple chat files, switch between them easily, and even jump directly to a specific date or use the search bar to find keywords buried in years of messages.

Media handling is handled thoughtfully, though with a bit of manual work. You specify the folder that contains the corresponding images so the viewer can display them within the conversation. When it works, it nicely restores the context of shared photos. You can also export an entire conversation as a PDF, including images, which is particularly useful for archiving, record keeping, or sharing a clean transcript.

There are handy extras as well: copying or sharing individual messages and images, viewing chat statistics like participant and message counts, and switching between supported languages including French, German, Indonesian, and Tamil (with the caveat that the exported chat language must match).

WA Chat Viewer is not a decryption tool and will not open WhatsApp crypt files, so it’s strictly for already exported text-based chats. It also does not sync in real time, meaning you must re-export if you want the latest version of a conversation. If you accept those limits, it’s a compact, reliable companion for organizing and reading your WhatsApp history more comfortably.
