Granny: Chapter Two
Stealth horror with two lethal grandparents and zero mercy
Granny: Chapter Two builds on the success of the original with a nastier twist: now you’re trapped in a house with both Granny and Grandpa, each threatening in their own way. The result is a tense first-person stealth horror experience where every step, creak and dropped item can mean instant death.
The premise is simple yet effective. You wake up in a locked room and have five in‑game days to escape. Granny has razor-sharp hearing and will sprint toward the slightest sound, while Grandpa is slower to notice noises but compensates with brutal strength and a powerful hit. This dual-threat design forces you to constantly rethink routes and hiding spots, creating a cat-and-mouse atmosphere that rarely lets up.
Gameplay combines stealth, light puzzle-solving and exploration. Keys, tools and code pieces are scattered around the house, and working out how they fit together is half the fun and half the panic. You can hide in wardrobes, under beds, or try to quietly sneak around them, but mistakes are punished fast. The house layout is cleverly designed, with multiple escape possibilities and plenty of tight spaces that heighten the feeling of claustrophobia.
Visually, it’s grim and grainy in a way that suits the theme, and the sound design is the real star: distant footsteps, door creaks and Granny’s unsettling mutters do most of the heavy lifting in terms of fear. Adjustable difficulty and extra modifiers let you tailor the challenge, from practice runs with less pressure to full-on nightmare sessions.
Granny: Chapter Two is not for the faint-hearted, but if you enjoy tense stealth horror with genuine jump scares and high replay value, it delivers a surprisingly deep and nerve-wracking experience.
