Where it really stands out is analytics. TrainingPeaks tracks metrics like duration, distance, pace, power and heart rate, then summarizes them in weekly snapshots and longer-term charts. Over time, you can monitor how your fitness builds, how much fatigue you’re carrying, and whether you’re on track to peak at the right moment. The free version works well for basic tracking and following plans created elsewhere, but the real power sits behind the Premium subscription, which unlocks advanced planning tools, custom workout libraries and more in-depth charts. It isn’t cheap, yet for dedicated athletes or those working with a coach, TrainingPeaks offers one of the most complete and disciplined environments to manage long-term performance.
