Q-See QT View is a companion app designed specifically for Q-See QT-series DVRs, giving you quick access to your security cameras wherever you are. Its main goal is simple: let you check on your home or business in real time, without having to be in front of a monitor.

The app allows you to view up to four camera feeds simultaneously, which is ideal for keeping an eye on key areas at a glance. Navigation is largely driven by touch gestures, so switching channels, rearranging views, or jumping into single-camera mode feels fairly intuitive once you get used to the layout. Pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) cameras are supported, with functions like focus, iris, presets, and cruise, so you can actively control where the camera looks instead of just passively watching.

Beyond live viewing, QT View offers solid playback tools. On the downside, the interface feels dated and can be overwhelming for newcomers, with many options tucked into dense menus. Performance also depends heavily on your network quality, and occasional connection drops can occur.
