Smarter call and text blocking that fights back against spam

Robokiller is designed for people who are tired of being interrupted by robocalls, scams, and junk texts, and want a more proactive defense than the default call blocker on their phone. It combines an enormous spam database with clever call analysis to stop nuisance contacts before they even ring through.

At its core, Robokiller uses a constantly updated list of known scam numbers and audio fingerprinting technology to identify suspicious calls, even when the number is spoofed. In day-to-day use, that means far fewer rings from “car warranty” scammers and fake bank alerts. Unknown callers are flagged clearly, and you can quickly add numbers to your personal blocklist or safe list to fine-tune what gets through.

One of the standout features is the Answer Bots system. Instead of simply rejecting suspicious calls, Robokiller can pick up and play pre-recorded, often comedic messages that waste the scammer’s time. There are trade-offs. Because it’s a subscription-based service, ongoing cost may put off casual users, and very aggressive filtering can occasionally mislabel a legitimate call or message, requiring some manual correction early on.
