Solomon's Boneyard drops you into a relentless arena where survival depends on quick reflexes and smarter builds each run. As a prelude to Solomon’s Keep, it tells the story of a young Solomon Dark, but the real hook is its addictive, wave-based action.

You choose from seven apprentice wizards, each with distinct starting powers, then dive into a nonstop two-stick shooter where undead hordes close in from every direction. Every few moments you gain levels, pick new skills, and gradually transform from fragile student to screen-clearing powerhouse. The skill tree is generous, with over thirty upgrades that let you specialize in chaining lightning, massive fireballs, icy crowd control, or defensive auras.

Runs are short but intense, encouraging “just one more try” as you chase higher scores and experiment with new builds. The perks system adds welcome long-term progression: the more you play, the more permanent boosts you unlock, slightly tilting the odds in your favor without trivializing the challenge.

Visually, Solomon's Boneyard leans into retro charm, with chunky sprites, gloomy graveyards, and clear attack effects that keep the chaotic action readable. The soundtrack and sound effects reinforce the dark fantasy mood, punctuating each level-up and explosive spell.

On the downside, the core loop is very repetitive by design, and players who prefer story depth or exploration may find the single arena and constant grinding a bit limited. Difficulty can also spike harshly, especially in early runs before you unlock stronger perks.
