At its core, MyConnect serves as a digital timeclock. You can clock in and out, log breaks, and immediately see your worked hours reflected in your schedule and pay information. This is especially handy for guards who move between sites or work irregular shifts, as it reduces errors and keeps everything synced with the company’s systems.

Beyond timekeeping, the app functions as a lightweight HR and communication tool. You can check time off balances, submit time off requests, review paystubs, and even report payroll discrepancies directly. The DailyPay integration is a notable benefit, giving faster access to earned wages without waiting for the traditional pay cycle. Messaging with your district manager, filing uniform or supply requests, and receiving global announcements via push notifications help keep you in the loop wherever you are.

The interface favors simplicity over flash, which generally makes navigation easy, even for less tech-savvy users. Language support in English, Spanish, and French is a welcome touch for a diverse workforce.

There are some limitations. The app is locked to Securitas employees using their existing OneID credentials, and occasional login hiccups or syncing delays can undermine its promise of real-time accuracy. Some users may also wish for richer reporting or offline functionality when coverage is poor.
