【Miku AR Camera】Mikuture
Miku AR Camera brings Hatsune Miku into your world
【Miku AR Camera】Mikuture is a playful augmented reality experience that lets you summon Hatsune Miku into everyday scenes and capture her as if she were really there. Built as a secondary creation under Crypton Future Media’s PIA Pro-character license, it caters directly to Vocaloid fans who want to blend fandom with creative photography.
The core idea is simple yet charming: point your camera at your surroundings, drop a 3D Hatsune Miku model into the frame, adjust her pose and size, and then snap photos or record short scenes. The character model is nicely detailed for casual use, and the tracking is generally stable enough to make compositions feel convincing, especially in well-lit environments.
Controls can feel a bit dense at first, with multiple sliders and buttons sharing a relatively small screen space, but after a short learning curve it becomes intuitive to move, rotate, and fine-tune Miku’s position. Having a range of poses and motions gives plenty of room for creativity, whether you want her performing on your desk, dancing in your living room, or posing in front of landmarks.
Performance is mostly smooth on modern devices, though enabling AR and 3D rendering together will naturally tax the battery and may heat up older hardware. The developer explicitly does not support Intel-based devices, which is worth noting if you rely on one.
【Miku AR Camera】Mikuture does not try to be a full-scale 3D editor or professional AR studio; instead, it focuses on delivering lighthearted, fan-focused fun. For Hatsune Miku enthusiasts, it offers a delightful way to personalize photos and videos, turning ordinary spaces into tiny virtual stages.
