You can pick up a payroll run begun on a desktop, review employee hours and compensation, and finalize with just a few taps. Access to payroll reports, cash requirements, employee profiles, tax setups, deductions, and time‑off balances makes it a compact control center for busy managers. Benefits and retirement insights, including participation rates and eligibility, are also available, which is especially useful for small and mid-sized businesses that lack a dedicated HR department.

Employees get an equally practical toolkit: instant access to check stubs and W‑2s, detailed views of compensation and deductions, time‑off balances, retirement contributions and loans, plus health, dental, life insurance, and FSA information. The ability to update retirement contributions and investments directly is a strong bonus for those actively managing their savings.

Biometric login via Touch ID and Face ID speeds up access while keeping sensitive data protected, and overall performance is generally smooth as long as the connection is stable.

On the downside, what you see is heavily dependent on your company’s Paychex plan, so some users may find features missing or limited.
